The Foundation Street of Sculptures ushered in the new year with a dinner for the whole organisation: the supervisory board, the executive committee, the programme committee and the staff.
This sounds as if we are a huge bureaucratic established institution, but - as you can see from the pictures above - this is hardly the case. The great thing about this project is that it remains at heart a bottom-up, grass root type project.
In the picture you can see us having fantastic Surinam food in a converted garage box. The cook is Mrs. Mavis Hofwijk, who's culinary reputation stretches far beyond the Bijlmer.
